Hi, I’m Gootz!
I’ve spent years gigging and fronting bands, but these days you’ll usually find me onstage with a guitar or banjo, blending folk, bluegrass, and Americana with a fresh, modern feel. My sets move between the timeless storytelling of artists like Bob Dylan and Jim Croce, and the energy of newer favorites such as The Lumineers, Avicii, and The Head and the Heart, all shaped by my own roots-driven style.
What I love most about performing is connection. Whether I’m playing a heartfelt ballad, turning a pop anthem into a foot-stomping folk tune, or weaving in some old-time bluegrass, my goal is to make the crowd feel part of the song. Every show is a little different, but always warm, inviting, and full of energy.
I play solo sets that fit just as well at a packed venue as they do at a private backyard gathering. Wherever the stage may be, I bring years of experience, a love for storytelling through music, and a performance that leaves people singing along long after the last note.
